Parish News

Our Saint Paul faith community rejoices to welcome our new shepherd, Father Richard K. McFadden.  Actually, his arrival as our parochial administrator is a bit of a homecoming. Father was baptized here at St. Paul’s, attended St. Paul’s School, and was ordained from this parish in 2005.  Those who weren’t in the parish when Father’s family lived here might recognize him from his attendance at some of our annual Candlelight Rosaries which he attended over the years.  Father also was present at Father McCreedy’s Golden Jubilee two years ago.

Father comes to us from St. Anastasia’s in Newtown Square, where he has been the parochial vicar for the last two years.  Previously, he was at St. Philip’s in Lafayette Hill in the same capacity.  While serving as a part-time parochial vicar at these parishes, Father has been one of the Vice-Chancellors of the Archdiocese, and will continue to be so as he begins serving our parish community.

Please welcome Father McFadden, our fifth Shepherd since our parish was founded in 1963.  Please keep him in your prayers as the manifestation of your love for him, the priesthood and dear St. Paul’s.
